This installation was build specially for the Lumierehall in Saint-Petersburg.

Когда вы двигаетесь, поднимаете руки, ходите, сотни частиц начинают опутывать экран инсталляции. Вы видите полотна Винсента ван Гога появляющиеся из-за вашего движения. Этот можно сравнить с прорастанием произведения из темноты к полноценному уникальному изображению. Забавно замереть перед инсталляцией и затем резко, например прыгнуть, тогда частицы будут отрисовывать полотна Ван Гога с изумительным графическим эффектом. Частицы продолжают ваше движение некоторое время, инсталляция как бы доживает ваше движение.

When you are walking or rising your hands hundreds of particles start rendering on a screen. You see that the Vincent van Gogh’s compositions grow up on a screen. This growing process goes from the dark to the colourful picture biased by yours movement. You can freeze at one place and then jump over to fill beautiful pictures by Vincent van Gogh. The dynamic of the particles continue your movement even if you stop.

Эта инсталляция разработана с использованием библиотек компьютерного зрения. Для видео захвата используется обычная вебкамера. Я был вдохновлен работами Zach Lieberman, Theodore Watson, и Arturo Castro на (https://sites.google.com/site/ofauckland/examples/curly-moving-particles), спасибо им за прекрасный пример работы с частицами. Openframeworks я использовал как основу для всего приложения.

This interactive installation based on computer vision algorithms and uses simple web camera for grabbing human movements. Openframeworks was used as a coding engine.
